Leah O’Neill founded Bête Abode Interior Design in 2016 after completing the Interior Design Program at The New York Institute of Art and Design. Before becoming an Interior Designer, Leah worked as a realtor and jewelry designer in Austin, Texas. Her love of homes and obsession with creating beautiful jewelry using natural materials transitioned well into interiors. Leah is passionate about creating stunning spaces, from selecting hard surface finishes and lighting (which she believes is the essential cherry on top of any project) to the final installation of furnishings and decor. Leah constantly seeks out the best materials, including floor and wall finishes, countertops, cabinets, lighting, furniture, and decor. She stays up to date on timeless design resources and up-and-coming trends. Leah’s work showcases her love of pattern, texture, natural finishes, and playful design. For every project, her goal is to create beautiful and functional spaces where those who live can thrive.
